Be Sweet to Mother Earth on Valentines Day!

Did you know that handling your waste is very reasonable in Santa Fe? For about $1.00 you can get rid of paint cans, old oil/antifreeze, aerosols, pesticides and other household hazardous waste? Simiilarly your standard television costs only about $0.50-$1.00. All you need to do is bring them to the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Stataion.

Household Hazardous Waste can be dropped off EVERY Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Your rechargeable batteries (e.g. laptop batteries, cellphone batteries, hearing aid batteries, etc.) are also considered household hazardous waste and should be managed in a similar fashion. It's very easy to get rid of all that stuff that has been hanging around in your garage.

Electronic wastes (e.g. Televisions, Monitors, Computers, Laptops, Cellphones, etc.) can be dropped EVERY DAY (Monday through Sunday) from 8:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Got Questions???? Just ask us. Use the comment form and we'll be happy to assist you. Be Sweet....Treat Mother Earth nice in February and rethink your waste.
